You're Moving Where?!

So in an effort to bring this blog up to speed, I'll post about the latest insanity. So Jeremy's new client is in San Francisco. It's actually the Golden Gate Bridge Authority.....yes, that means he gets to work on "the bridge" but also on a bus and ferry system also owned by The Authority. But we all know buses and ferries are blah and The Bridge is "Way Cool!!" So Jeremy's out there working on the bridge. This assignment is at least 6 mo so due to the long flight (5.5 out, 4.5 back) and the time change (3 hrs) it's just not conducive for a body to fly back 'n forth every week. So we thought we'd go to an every other week rotation but Claire is kicking my butt with the terrible two's (yes, I know she's not 2 YET, but she acts it!) so in order for both of us to remain alive until August, we are moving out there to be with J. J is home this weekend for his rotation home and after 2 days with her and her new-found attitude, he looked at me and said, "This kid needs TWO fulltime parents!!". I said, "I know, why do you think we are moving to SF?!?!, it's not for the weather!!!". (More on my opinions of SF and it's weather in a future post.) We go in less than 3 weeks (just after Claire's B-day) so hopefully once we are out there, I'll be able to catch this blog up on all the fun and totally cute pics and stories Claire has created over the past several months. As much as the attitude and new vocab drive us nuts, it does make you run around the corner and bust a gut for a few minutes before you come back in with the "mean Mommy look" and shell out some discipline. If you are or have ever been a parent of a toddler, you KNOW what I mean. If you aren't, just wait, some day toddlerhood will happen to you too and you'll understand what I'm sayin'. =) Bye for now....
