Easter

Despite being so far from home over a holiday, we had a great day!! We started off the day with Claire getting her Easter basket and surprises from the Easter Bunny. It was easy to see his theme, everything was Cinderella! Can't imagine why?! The only thing Claire isn't more obsessed with than Cinderella, is Mickey and crew. After going through all her gifts, she suddenly spied an egg, then another, and another and the hunt was on with no coaching from us. She's so smart! After eating a nice breakfast, we headed to church down in San Mateo. After service we had a huge Easter Egg hunt for the kids in the courtyard. Claire had a blast.

After that we drove down to San Jose to have lunch with Jeremy's grand-big brother from Theta Xi, Adam Corkins and his wife, Sarah. The meal was superb, only surpassed by the company. We took Claire's bed with us so she could nap while we talked but Claire was too enthralled with their dog Kona and their friends' dog, Judy, that they were dog-sitting. She played hard with both dogs all day. We didn't head back to SF until 9:30pm. What a great day!!
