Also today, Claire decided she was going to read Tarzan a book. She ran upstairs to get one and then came back down to my room and climbed up on the bed where Tarzan was. Of course, Tarzan jumped up and ran away which hurt Claire's feelings, but I still thought it was sweet that she wanted to read to him. Hopefully she'll be that generous of heart if she gets a sibling someday.

Oh boy!
So I admit to occasionally saying really mindless things when Claire is pushing buttons and I'm not really in discipline mode, Mother Of the Year material I'm sure. So today it happened, I caught myself saying, "Claire, Do you need a spanking?". But I had to suppress a smile when the response I got back was "Not ye-ht!". LOL!

She is too funny! I have busted out laughing way too many times when I shouldn't have. Oh well, they're only young once and there will be plenty of chances to correct, I'm sure!
